FAQ

What is semantic diff?

We normalize both sides to sorted JSON so key order alone does not create noise. Enable “Ignore array order” to sort array items before comparing.

When does it fall back to text?

If either side fails to parse as YAML, you get a line-oriented text diff and a notice.

Can I open from Format?

Yes. “Open in Diff” stashes the current text into the left pane.
